Warwick Boudoir at the April 2015 Gritty Goddess

If you’re looking for something exciting to do this weekend, come see Warwick Boudoir at the Gritty Goddess tomorrow, April 18th!

The Gritty Goddess is a 5k-ish mud run that is all about celebrating women! There will be mud, sand, obstacles, water, gritty sisterhood, and tons of fun. Whether you are running or cheering, there will be plenty to do. There is live music, delicious food, and we have even heard rumors of adult beverages.

Make sure to stop by our booth; we will have examples of our boudoir photography, pin-up photoshoots, our book of beauty before-and-afters, special deals for all Gritty Goddess participants or spectators, and a prize wheel. Everyone who spins will win, and one lucky lady will win 60 minutes of photography time in our studio! Remember: the prize wheel is only available to ladies who stop by our booth tomorrow.

The Dirty Details:

What: The Gritty Goddess Mud Run

Where: Moody Gardens in Galveston, Texas

When: The first wave begins at 8:30, the last wave is at 12:30 and we are planning on being there for the whole event!

Who: The event is for females, but the last wave is co-ed, so feel free to bring your special guy if you can persuade him to go. Bonus points if he dresses in drag for a true Gritty Goddess experience! The minimum age to participate is 10 years old, and the event is designed for anyone to participate! It’s walker friendly, and you can avoid any obstacles you aren’t comfortable with.

Wardrobe: If you are participating, make sure you are ready to get gritty! Leave your favorite workout clothes at home and pick something that you don’t mind possibly staining or tearing. There is a costume contest, so if you want to be a contender for the top prize get creative! The competition is fierce; ladies have rocked everything from wedding dresses to corsets, so no matter what you wear you will fit right in.  If you are spectating, bring an umbrella (it looks like it may be a rainy day!), and wear comfortable shoes because there is no spectator seating. The best areas to watch the obstacles are on grass, so leave your stilettos at home.
